Well, so yet there’s another multiplayer mod being developed for San Andreas, Called SA Party. It’s developed by Ywa*NL, features basic on-foot and vehicle sync and object placement. More to come soon Oh, and I’m testing this mod (and hacking the SCM when I’m bored), so there are some nice places like Big Smokes Crack Labour and the Drug Factory in San Fierro accessible. (SA:MP has only a wall for smokes crack labour and a hole to fall thru for the factory, MTA has a hole for the crack labour, dont know about the other.) At least Smokes Crack Labour is a pretty cool and large place (you may remember it from “End of the Line” Mission), i used to met my friends back in Rumble times there (oh, wasn’t in rumble originally :P)
Still something fresh and new compared to SA:MP, may not been as good as it is now or the 0.2 version is going to be, but still funny
Finally the server works again, after the guys from netdirekt found out i just wrote one directive of my /etc/network/interfaces wrong. I’ve just tried to add the two below listed IPs that were given to me, but not yet configured.
So now let’s see what we can manage to put on the IPs 84.16.249.241 and 84.16.249.242, maybe some SA:MP servers just using there port 7777. And maybe some website stuff that should just use a different IP.
So finally, seen some bots in SA:MP. They’ve been created by sirius[WS], he appearantly took two weeks of his time to create them, but here you see:
Apart from that, it was most likely the largest IRC Community Event some people you may know were there, including littlewhitey, Peter, CrazyBob, me etc. I’m still waiting for Mount from gtaonline.dk to post the server-log, I’ll add it to this post once he does.
So, finally something good, they released the r2 version - with a Windows version.
The release actually seems to work with files for me, so I may spend another thought about creating new scripts. Like a month before it suddenly refused to work with files, so nothing i was able to do, were I?
Don’t hesitate to change your Linux servers anyway if they’re hosted at samp-host.net. I think I’ve messed a few with r2 already, due a link for the new builds was in IRC for like a month before.
